The Soccer Tournament 2024 gets underway today (Wednesday, June 5) and features 48 teams in this seven-a-side competition. There is a women's and men's event, with the victors walking away with $1 million (£783,420). Ahead of Aguero leading his Aguero Team and Howard playing in goal for the Wrexham Red Dragons, the pair shared an amusing photo with one another.

WHAT WREXHAM SAID
The Welsh side posted a photo of the smiling Wrexham keeper with a slightly less cheery Aguero together.
The tweet reads: "Enjoy this photo of Sergio Aguero and Chomp (Howard's nickname)."
Howard then posted on Instagram: "Been told this guy's famous on Twitch," before tagging Aguero and TST.

This tournament means a great deal to many people, including Aguero – who has come out of retirement to take part in this event. Newtown Pride won the inaugural edition of this competition but many teams will look to dethrone them this time out.

Howard's Wrexham side begin their group stage campaign against FC Roha Eagles at WakeMed Soccer Park on Wednesday, before lining up against Saturdays Football later that day and Desimpedidos on Thursday. The tournament concludes on Monday, June 10.
